Bond Dickinson's Leeds office boosted by private wealth offering

The Private Wealth Team has seen particular success with dramatic growth in its client base over this period and three additional legal specialists. In the last year the team acted for five of Yorkshire’s twenty wealthiest families with the net worth of the firm’s private clients ranging from £1 million to approaching £1 billion.

This growth within the Yorkshire private wealth market has been recognised in the most recent edition of the Legal 500 directory where the team is now ranked jointly in the 2nd tier and with leading member of the private wealth team Caroline Hedges highlighted as significant player in this market. The successful establishment and continuing expansion in the Leeds region reflects Bond Dickinson's strong performance across the UK with the firm on course to exceed the £100m turnover mark by the end of the current financial year.

Caroline Hedges said: “Our focus has been on families who are in business or have derived their wealth from the sale of a business. This focus complements Bond Dickinson’s integrated full-service approach and our ability to provide services to Yorkshire businesses and the individuals behind them.”

The Leeds office has more than 70 staff representing corporate and commercial, real estate, dispute resolution and private wealth departments. Clients include: Town Centre Securities plc, Melrose plc, NVM Private Equity, Mobeus Equity Partners, Foresight Group, Commercial Estate Group Limited, Cellhire plc, the Administrators of Lehman Brothers International (Europe).
