WBD supports Samling Institute for Young Artists

After a year where the hospitality and entertainment industry was hit hard it is a pleasure to attend concerts once again. This year Womble Bond Dickinson has continued their support for the Samling Institute for Young Artists, who we have supported for many years.

This year Samling Institute for Young Artists, led by Karon Wright, celebrates their 25 year anniversary, having already provided unique opportunities and coaching to hundreds of talented young musicians. Last Thursday a preview concert was held at 22 Mansfield Street which was followed by the Samling Artist Showcase at Wigmore Hall on Sunday.

The showcase included a new duet cycle Man, Woman, Child by contemporary composer Jonathan Dove performed by pianist James Baillieu, soprano Alexandra Lowe and tenor Filipe Manu. Also performing were mezzo-soprano Kitty Whately, bass William Thomas and pianist Ian Tindale.

Alexander Dickinson, Partner at Womble Bond Dickinson, said "It is always a pleasure to support Samling and see the next generation of talented musicians perform."
